Tate Modern

Tate Modern is featuring Unilever series by Carsten Holler, which comprises of huge slides that look awesome and people can slide down, if they queue up for hours for a free tickets. So didn't quite managed to do that today. But I did see two great exhibitions:


DAVID SMITH


Featuring splendid sculptures that were somewhat dreamy, totally unique and very imaginative. Also saw short film on his art, which was great. Loved this, even though man is clearly keen on too much brown.




FISCHLI and WEISS "Flowers and questions"

This at first looked like one of those exhibitions where an artist has had too much time on his/her hands and the madness has set in, but then I realised that these two are totally crazy and clearly have a great sense of humour.
My favourite exibit was the room containing small clay sculptures that were really funny, they were like small cartoons.

They might not be so funny but they had these captions that tied everything and made it hilarious. It takes someone great to create something so simple yet so efficient.
My absolute favourite one was this. It is called:
Mick Jagger and Brian Jones walking home satisfied after they wrote I can't get no satisfaction.
