Crock files 2

OK, so today I read the interview with the Crock hunter's wife, who is taking this all minute by minute, children have been orphaned and she is inconsolable and through it all she said she had such wonderful life with him for 14 years and such romance that even if she knew how it ends, she would choose it again...and I, I now feel guilty of being on the side of the rays.
My problem is that I never quite manage to pull the sarcastic rutlessness, something like this always gets in the way :(
