Penguin sanctuary. Website promised walking among penguins. Those were the ones on the loose and they were immobile. There was poo all around them and they looked as if they were dying. Not a great sight for a penguin lover...



These were a bit more lively...






Puffin. Or a poor man's penguin.


Avocet birds. They were cute.


Pretty duck or a puffin.


These cute birds went a bit crazy when tourists tried to look into their nest and there was almost blood on the wooden deck. Luckily they ducked. Birds are dangerous...



The seals really made me sad. They had only one rock and such a small pool. Egregious conditions.


I don't know what that is but it tried to swallow a stone. Oli laughed even though he had hula hoops in his pocket.

Grand plan is to take over the hotel on the hill. It would feature holistic retreat, clean penguins, kick boxing (taught by Oli...), book club (taught by me)...bracelets by the till...


120 miles/hr, hardly legal but regular occurence in chavmobile...
