Jesus' birthday party

Had to watch it, a compulsory thing when one is responsible for a grey mouse in the play but I was not disappointed at all. Whomever was a mastermind behind this play deserves a nomination for Bafta or at least some artistic acknowledgement...
Not your usual politically correct Christmas crap nativity play here at all. Done with professional lightning, cool music and narrated by kids in a rather amusing, witty repartee, I was absolutely stunned that kids this young could pull this off.
The show was amusing and slightly sardonic in nature.

It featured totally splendid animal dance, which carried a jazzy theme and had a sublime undertone. It was almost hypnotic, mice were dancing with rabbits, goats were among their own kind and there was a brownish animal I was unable to identify, perhaps a new species...
There was none of the usual "away in a manger..." garbage to be sang, instead, when Jesus was born, Mary, Joseph, the three Kings (one of whom looked rather bored and uninterested through this ), shepherds, the angels, the owners of the Stable Inn ( a nice B&B that Joseph and Mary stayed in ) all got up and danced to "Celebrate good times, come on...it's a celebration..."
There was also a piece danced purely by angels that descended upon the stable in a flash of lightning, which was cool.

In this day and age, I was even surprised that something like this was allowed to go ahead but this completely restored my faith in the education system.
