DARKO RUNDEK
Sunday, November 20, 2005
Once part of one of my favourite bands and now a part of another band, I found out he was performing in London, in some small jazz venue.
Venue was rather intimate, one could order food and there was only about 100 people.
We were sat down and close to the stage. Music was great. From new things to his old stuff that he performed with Haustor and even a track by EKV. It was passionate yes simple and it just kinda flowed, the whole evening.
When he was not performing, Rundek was standing at the bar and talking to people.
It beats huge concerts by a mile.
By the end girls got excited, whole room clapped and helped him sing and hum.

When it was all over, the crowd shouted for encore and he came back to the stage and he asked what do we want to hear and we shouted Apokalipso and he sang it, the woman that played the violin used it as a small guitar, making most unusual sounds and the trumpets made the mood just right and everyone went wild.
It is only after, when one experiences such high and it ends, that you walk home, still under the impression and yet somewhat empty to have experienced that and lost it all in the same night.
