My World

Let the right one in

Sunday, April 19, 2009

Finally a film that was a pleasure to watch, totally fulgid experience. It is beautifully shot and the acting is supberb. I realised that I got used to american movies and their over dramatic portrayals of life and this was a total breath of fresh air. The only thing that lets it down slightly is a somewhat european sountrack, but even that doesn't deflect from its splendour.

I particularly enjoyed the cat scene, which is both hilarious and sad. It is clear that cats were psychologically damaged during the filming but I am sure they are proud that they contributed to something great.
A must see, a film for all romantics out there...and those that love the gory aspects of life equally.
